Working Together for a Healthy Community

The Thumb Community Health Partnership (TCHP) is located in the rural area of Michigan referred to as the Thumb. The partnership encompasses Huron, Lapeer, Sanilac, and Tuscola County.  Members include public mental health, health departments, local hospitals, human service agencies and community agencies.

Getting Ahead Workshop
A new session of the Getting Ahead workshop will begin in Sandusky the week of September 18 and run through December 15. This 16-week program is designed for individuals experiencing poverty who are ready to make positive changes and build resources for a more stable future! Participants will meet weekly (time and location chosen by the group) and receive a meal and stipend at each session. The workshop helps participants explore personal experiences, community conditions, and the impact of economic class while creating a framework for long-term success. Sponsored by 211 NE Michigan, Thumb Community Health Partnership, and the Thumb Opioid Response Consortium. Registration is available below or call 989-249-3869 for more information.
