Working Together for a Healthy Community

The Thumb Community Health Partnership (TCHP) is located in the rural area of Michigan referred to as the Thumb. The partnership encompasses Huron, Lapeer, Sanilac, and Tuscola County.  Members include public mental health, health departments, local hospitals, human service agencies and community agencies.

TPM Case Study Highlighting our Work within the ELC

Using the Talent Pipeline Management (TPM) framework, the Thumb Region Health and Human Services Employer-Led Collaborative (ELC) aligned employers and educators to address critical rural healthcare workforce shortages. Employer-led, data-driven hiring projections guided training and career pathways, resulting in 59% of participants earning credentials and 61% securing healthcare jobs.
