It's never too late to go back to school! Don't let finances be a barrier to obtaining your career goals! Financial Supports Include: FAFSA- Federal Student Aid Any student, regardless of income, who wants to be considered for federal, state, and school financial aid programs. This includes grants, scholarships, work-study funds, and loans. To be eligible, you must: Be at least 21 years old when you apply Have lived in Michigan for a year or more Have a high school diploma, high school equivalency (GED), or certificate of completion Have not yet completed a college degree (associate or bachelor's) To apply visit https://missg.guarantorsolutions.com/StudentPortal/reconnect GST MI Works! offers many services to those seeking employment! Visit one of the 7 service locations available across the Thumb. https://gstmiworks.org/job-seekers/ Local Community Foundations- foundations offer grants and scholarships to community members who are getting a post-secondary education. Huron- https://www.huroncountycommunityfoundation.org Lapeer- https://lapeercountycf.org Sanilac-https://sanilaccountycommunityfoundation.org/ Tuscola- https://www.tuscolaccf.org Colleges that you attend will also have scholarship opportunities.
